On today’s Oprah show, Jennifer Aniston stated unequivocally that she and actor beau, Vince Vaughn, have not broken up.
Aniston, 37, who appeared on the popular daytime series to promote Room 10, the short film she co-directed with Andrea Buchanan, her longtime friend and documentary film producer, as part of Glamour magazine's "Reel Moments" series, said that contrary to reports on CNN and The Today Show, she and Vaughn, 36, have not split. She also said they are not engaged.
Aniston, dressed in a black tiered skirt and black tank top, also said that she hadn’t gotten breast implants as one tabloid recently reported. She explained with a laugh that when she gains weight it goes straight to her chest and rear-end.
After 10 minutes of squelching rumours, Aniston got onto the real business of her visit – to talk about her directorial debut and about Room 10. The film tells the true story of a nurse who gains perspective on her marital problems while caring for a dying patient. Starring Kris Kristofferson as a man whose wife is dying and Robin Wright Penn as the nurse, the film’s core message is that there are good and bad times in relationships and over the long haul, “you have to just stay in the room.”
The films in Glamour's "Reel Moments" series are based on true stories from readers.
Also in the news today are reports that Vince Vaughn is threatening to sue British tabloids, the Sun and Daily Mirror, as well as the New York Post, for suggesting he’s been cheating on Aniston. He’s also ticked off that they ran photos of him allegedly kissing a blonde woman at a charity event in London.
Vaughn's legal reps at the London law firm, Schillings, released a statement that said, "Ms. Aniston and Mr. Vaughn had not ended their relationship either at the material time or since. ... The suggestion that he was having a passionate embrace and kiss, or has ever been unfaithful to Ms Aniston, are false."
