This celebrity gossip website debuted in 2005. It's managing editor Harvey Levin is a lawyer turned journalist who has quickly become one of the leading celebrity news journalists in the US.
TMZ stands for "thirty-mile zone", referring to the thirty-mile radius of the intersection of West Beverly Boulevard and North La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles (known as the "studio zone").

TMZ's paparazzi are waiting everywhere for possible breaking news and seem to always have great sources when it comes to getting inside information about celebrities. Perez Hilton is an actor turned celebrity blogger turned television personality who began his blogging career in 2005. He covers gossip on celebrities, actors and musicians.
He has worked as a freelance writer, receptionist and managing editor of a gay magazine. He began blogging because he said it was something easy he could do. He got his nickname from socialite Paris Hilton who is one of the few celebrities he rarely speaks negatively about.
Perez Hilton appears everywhere there are celebrities, from clubs to movie premiers, awards shows and even at private events where he posts pictures of himself with many celebrities. His promotion of musicians on his successful blog has given them the boost they needed to jump start their careers.
He speaks his mind even if it puts negative or unflattering light on a celebrity. He is sometimes controversial because of his tabloid photograph captions and his "doodling" over them.

Page Six began as a column within the New York Post. It was created by James Brady in 1976 as a celebrity news and gossip column. It is currently edited by Richard Johnson. It has become one of the leading providers for entertainment news.

Dlisted was created in 2005 by Michael K. Its up front style and in your face approach is what has made this site successful. However, its sometimes crude remarks and jabbing phrases can be controversial.
