It's been nice knowing ya, Summer, Seth, and Ryan

Orange County will never be the same.

The once-popular teen drama, The O.C., which has struggled to find viewers this season has finally been put out of its misery.

The last episode of the series, created by Josh Schwartz, will air on February 22. It's a swift end for the show which debuted to great praise and was the toast of Hollywood, enjoying a meteoric rise in viewership. Unfortunately, the show lost its bearings in Season 2 and was boring and irrelvant. It never recovered.

Say Goodbye to Summer, Seth, and Ryan. (Marissa, played by Mischa Barton, wisely kicked the bucket last year.)

In the coming weeks, I'll post a retrospective of the show as well as interview highlights with the cast, whom I interviewed on-set several times.

RIP O.C.
