» crunchymom76 - Her 3 Month Old

My concern with all of this is that she's out there partying all night and not caring for her 3 month old. I mean, she just had a BABY in September!! I didn't leave my infants overnight at all--even my first who wasn't breastfed.

I know she has nannies, but I think she could be taking a more hands-on approach and bonding with baby. I wonder if baby even knows who mom is? I almost think that she was criticized so much last time that she's maybe too detached this time.

All I know is that if she's out partying all night long every night of the week, her little baby is waking up looking for mama, but mama's never there!

I couldn't agree with you more. Yes Britney has nannies but it's not the same. That said, I'm double-minded.... if your mom is as irresponsible and self-centred as Britney, aren't you better off with hired help?
I don't know. The nanny or double-nanny phenom is just so prevalent here - it's almost as if you're not a good mommy if you try to do it on your own. But that's a whole different issue...
